My covered front porch is my relaxing place. I have an oversized dog bed for Maddie and we stay outside all day. I work from home now so my office is outside. I hope you are doing well. I enjoy your postings and letters.
What a gorgeous week, Liz. Have migrated my yoga practice from my bedroom to my cabin at the bottom of our garden this week, so there must be something spring like in the air! (Finally?!) 🤎
Oh, that moment when we are able to move outside for coffee, yoga, and just sitting and watching the world. ❤️It is truly a magical time! Wishing you a glorious spring week, Luisa. xo
Beautiful! It sounds like a sunlight filled week and one of tangible seasonal shift! I love that there are celebrations at the end of April and beginning of May. Your balcony looks totally gorgeous, what a wonderful place to be xx
It’s such a special place, Lyndsay, yes! And it was perfect timing to be able to focus on getting it ready for the warmer season as a part of the celebrations and folklore of this time of year. Last week was absolutely such a tangible, concrete way to move through the season.
Memories—both long and short term— are the poetry of the Mind. We save what matters most to us in every ordinary day. Liz, I love the poetic way you gather your moments here.
Thank you so much, Ann. I absolutely love that you describe the way I shared things as “poetic”. Your comment challenges me to expand how I see myself as a writer and documentarian. I’m humbled. ❤️
Your photos always spark so much joy! You have a true talent of capturing the magic of simple moments. I’m so happy you decided to do these weekly letters again! Cheers to spring and balcony season! 🌹🌿🥂
I am deeply, deeply grateful that you continue to follow along as I document and share these moments of my life. It means everything to me that you experience joy from my posts. 🫶🏻
I cannot wait to read more about your time in Costa Rica as you process it all and let it sink in. xo🙏🏼
The post is up! One of many, because the experience was transformational. Connecting with women online was a lifesaver for me when I was too afraid to do it IRL, and I'll forever be grateful to blogging for providing me that connection. Thank you for being part of my life from a safe distance when I wasn't ready for anything more ❤️
Love the opening of the balcony. We opened up our table as well the other week & ate nachos with non alcoho mijitos ✨️ we just got our cat a harness! She's not inlove yet. She was a shelter cat (left on the streets) so she's a bit nervous to the outside life. But we know she will get their soon outside is healing 🌸
Sounds like we’re on the same spring wavelength with a little Mexican food and drinks, a cat harness, and a love of being outside! Happy beautiful May, my friend. ☀️

It sounds so wonderful to be able to sit and work outside all day! I’m sure it is a super cozy and beautiful space. xo
How lovely. Your balcony looks so cosy!
Thanks, Emily! It really is such a special place. 😊

Yay!!! Reading it now!
Now, if only we could get to the in real life part of our sisterhood! 😘 I’ll trust life and our friendship to unfold exactly as it should. ❤️
Agreed! The universe is magical and powerful, and it will happen when it’s supposed to. I have a feeling it will ✨💗🤗
