I love that you made time to listen and I am so grateful that you felt that intimate connection that I want. You heard correctly, CJ. I was born and raised in North Carolina, so I am a southern girl. :) Thank you so much for your kind words. I am so glad you loved it. xo
Beautiful and innovative, Liz. I agree with you about the rest that January calls us to. A month to hibernate and dream, to grow wiser and more resilient. Love the podcast-- it adds a great new layer to your work! 😊🫶
Thank you, Ann. I’m so glad you liked the podcast as well. I really just want to offer different ways for people to access my thoughts and musings. Plus, it feels so personal and lovely to talk to you. 🫶🏻 I’m hoping that you are having a most restful and magical January so far. xo
“the hibernation and restoration of January is silent, quiet, necessary work of wintering before the coming spring”
That is just so! Your whole letter resonates so much. I am in fact enjoying this slower pace. I am dreaming and planning and slowly, doing. I am reminiscing quite a bit too and it’s connecting me to my younger self. It’s a time in my life to look inward and manifest some parts of me that have been hibernating too.
I am looking forward to listening to your podcasts. Enjoy this January- it’s dark there,I live in Seattle so I get it a little, but seeing all that bright snow there in your photos...a bit envious. :)
It sounds like you are having a most lovely start to January, Becca. It is such a magical time to look back and to look forward - and to look inward, as you say. What a brave and beautiful pace you are setting for your year, I believe.
I am so excited that you are looking forward to hearing my podcast - I am super excited to be able to talk with you. It feels so much more personal.
It is super dark here, but I am seeing tiny changes in the light every single day. The darkness gives way to the light more and more. Wishing you continued magic, my friend. xo
