This month really has been bringing the magic and beauty. More than I can even really fathom, honestly. From nature to Tuscany to connecting with my dad. I am just so very grateful.

How is your May feeling as it comes to a close? I hope all is well with you, Lyndsay. ❤️

Wow yes what a beautiful month. So many special moments for you.

I have generally feeling softer in May, leaning into fullness and enjoying its magic. However the last day or two have been very ‘winterspring’ and grey. Ready for some warmth and glimpses of sunshine again! Hope the end of May has been gentle for you xx

I can't wait to hear your stories of Tuscany. I'm so glad the two of you got to savor that time together! Sometimes we need a trip like that to begin a new era of life. I hear you saying that now is the time for a new Beginning. May your creative joy flow abundantly!

And wow. How beautiful it is, Liz, that you and your dad are still close, still in such tender conversation together!🕯️💛

Exactly, Ann. The trip really was the beginning of a new era, a reset, and a welcome into a new beginning and a new phase. I am so humbled by it and cannot wait to share more. ☀️

I love that - tender conversation - because that is truly what it was when I discovered the unknown message from my dad. Hiding under the candleholder for almost 20 years, waiting to reveal itself to me at just the right time. ❤️

There’s something s special about the connection with our ancestors we can tend to, isn’t it?The moments with your dad sound so special. ✨ I wrote about a connection moment with my mum and her journal / diary that I was given last week (after thinking for 16 years that there’s no journal).

And the photos are stunning! So glad to hear you had a great trip! Spring in Florence is beautiful

I’ve also sent in my vote for the European elections 🗳️ decided to do it by mail as on the day voting is not a thing I enjoy 😅

I have not yet read your post on her diary/journal yet, but I am so intrigued. What a magical gift it is to receive unexpected words from a loved one. (I'm super behind on reading anything here on Substack. But, my intention is to catch up this weekend, as I finally have no real plans and can slow down my pace a little.)

Thanks, Florence was just overwhelmingly inspiring. I cannot wait to share more throughout the summer.

Yay for voting! So important, but often it can be a burden. I'm really happy that countries offer different option for voting. Early voting is quite popular here in Sweden. My polling place is quite calm, so I am planning on going on the 9th. There's something traditional and ritualistic about it for me.

Have a lovely start to June, Carmen! xo
