Spring is a stormy season, isn't it? The transition from cozy, slow winter into the lighter, more active half of the year can feel jarring. As much as I love it, some years the entry feels more disturbing than others. I love your 7 intentions for cutting away and clearing out! Just this morning I made up a story for my son about the weather and season gods battling in the sky above - winter fighting to stay and spring fighting to take over. My son asked "why do they need to fight"? and I said that maybe spring needs to struggle in order to bloom. He liked that answer. Just as the butterfly needs to struggle through the cocoon to pump up his wings, so, too, we struggle against winter and fight for the spring to bloom.
I love the sense of connection you have with the ebb and flow of the seasons and what that signifies to you and gives meaning.
