I LOVE this, Liz! When I woke this morning, I saw it was pouring rain (a rarity here in the desert). Instead of going for my usual walk, I decided to open my bedroom windows so I can hear, see, and smell the rain while getting super cozy back in my bed with a cup of coffee. And then I read your post and the moon asking us to bask and indulge! It's all so perfect. Thank you so much for this wisdom! ❤️❤️❤️
It sounds like it was an absolutely dreamy morning for you, though a bit out of the ordinary. The magic and mystery of the moon give us so much wisdom, I believe. And I cannot believe how this particular moon seems to be inviting us to see how perfectly things are lined up, which is also a reminder to me to never forget to stay slow and trust deeply in my own intuition. Blessed full moon, sister. 🫶🏻
Your moon pictures by the lake are gorgeous- I can feel the midsummer magic through the screen! I’d totally sign up for a retreat at that beautiful nature spot and eat strawberries all day 😍
We had the craziest rain the last 2 nights, it didn’t feel like summer solstice at all outside but summer rain is still beautiful
It is such a beautiful place. My boss always invites us to her summer house for a few days before midsummer to wrap up the year before everyone’s summer vacations begin. 😍
Yesterday was gorgeous here, but today the rain has moved in and it has been very moody and gray. Even though I am loving all things sunny and lush and bright this summer, my soul is a moody, autumn weather soul. So, I’ve been at home all day, candles lit, resting and soaking in the latter of rain on my windows. Wishing you a lovely Saturday evening, Carmen. xo
So unbelievable you pulled the moon on the full moon! I love this Liz, it is so in tune with how I’m feeling about this solstice and full moon combination! It feels like the pause at the peak, after the growing but before the harvest. It definitely gives us permission to simply bask and enjoy all of the wild beauty around us and remember the value in the fertile void. Sending full moon love xx
Exactly, Lyndsay! A pause at the peak - I love that. To be honest, as soon as the wheel has turned and the solstice day is over, I also turn towards the darker half of the year and begin to ever so slowly descend into the waning part of the year. But, this year, it’s as if the solstice moment, perhaps influenced by the full moon, is a bit longer. And I am lingering here, at the summit and the peak of the summer season, for just a bit longer. And it feels so very sacred and right. ☀️
