This is so beautiful Liz. I totally know what you mean about time suddenly vanishing and it being Christmas so soon, after it feeling like there was time to go. I got quite whipped up into the overwhelm for a day or two but am feeling calmer now, perhaps as a result of the beautiful messages of stillness at the solstice. And I agree, this time of year holds multitudes, the silence and the jubilation, the darkness and the sparkly light. Wishing you a very merry and cosy Christmas, thank you for your words and all of your support this year xx

My sweet friend, I want to thank you for your inspiration and support as well. Connecting with you has truly been a highlight of my year on Substack in 2024. I am so grateful for sharing this journey with you through all of the softness and grace you bring to all of us. May your Christmas be warm and bright, Lyndsay. Wishing you calm and inspiration as you gently move into the new year. I cannot wait to see what unfolds. xo

Thank you for a beautiful post. Your words on the delicate balancing of festivity and stillness in the week ahead resonated deeply with what I’ve been feeling, but had not yet found the words for. Thank you.

You’re so welcome, Megan. I’m so glad it resonated with you! The idea of finding balance during this week has always been something I’ve intended, but never really been quite satisfied with. Here’s to the week ahead and creating space for all of it to exist. Happy holidays to you. xo

Liz - when I listened to this I kept saying “me too”, “me too”. What was going on in the universe last week? This short season has had some sad times and wrong turns for me- but some fun times too! I haven’t been able to find much early spirit as I had hoped to do either - though it’s much stronger now since the solstice passed too.

I usually read your letters but have been listening this December instead. So -it’s been harder to comment here. It’s been so nice to hear your lovely voice help me recenter each week. The St. Lucia story was so interesting as I had always wondered about that. Next year I am going to do something with candles on the 13th and just adopt it somehow for my own tradition. Thank you so much for sending your positive energy out to us. I know it is an especially tough year for you, as for most of us the holidays are a mixed bag of emotions. I wish you many more good memories of past Christmases and may you make some new joyful ones this year too. ✨💫✨

How are you doing now, Becca? How has the week been after the solstice? I was able to find a bit more spirit, and I so hope you have too. And the time after Christmas has just been bliss, so far. :)

That is so much fun that you have been listening to my letters also in December. I absolutely love sharing them as spoken word as well. It makes me feel even closer to each of you. Yes! Definitely celebrate Lucia next year! And just create it as whatever you want. It's really just another chance to honor an amazing story and to celebrate the light. We can all use that, and positive energy, at all times of the year. And I am absolutely humbled that you feel as if I send some positivity your way. Thank you so much for sharing your kindness and your warm thoughts with me as well. Wishing you a most blessed new year, my friend. xx
