And, thank you for reading! I'm glad I was able to capture the light so that it kind of came through in my photos. I often find it so hard to share what I actually see. And I really want to share it! We're so lucky with the amount of windows we have and that we live so high up in the sky. It feels like a magical retreat. 💫

Liz, this is SUCH a beautiful post!!! I loved reading it, and the pictures made me feel so autumnal and cozy (or should I say mysig?!). I’m a big lover of hygge so love learning about how to say it in Swedish. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing this glimpse into your cozy days. Also your home is beautiful!!!

Oh, Hunter, THANK YOU! I am absolutely over the moon that you loved seeing my home and could feel a bit of coziness here.

I am deeply touched by your constant warm and gracious way of creating community on Substack. And I am honored to be able to connect with you. Hope all is well and cozy with you - even if it is still warm in Florida right now. xoxo

You have created such a beautiful space to call home!!

Aw that means the world to me. I still feel like I'm only touching the surface of being "active" on here, but the community aspect is SO magical on Substack, isn't it? I'm so honored to be connected with you, too!

Thank you!! We're starting to have cool mornings which feel AMAZING! I'll take what I can get 😂

Such a cozy space, Liz! Came here thanks to Hunter’s note sharing your post.

Will use your photos as inspo since I’ll have to make my space more cozy after moving and all the fun...

Thank you for coming for a visit here, Carmen! And for leaving a little comment so I can also connect with you on your Substack. Hunter is a Substack community queen, in my opinion. Full of grace and heart. I'm constantly finding new inspiration from the posts she writes and the writers she shares.

I am super honored that my photos provided a little inspo for you... where are you moving to?! Good luck on all the new adventures!

I moved from London back to Germany last year and now have 2 homes (long distancing with my partner) across Germany currently. So lots of spaces that need some love as they feel still quite cold.

I just struggle with making the right choices, worried I won’t like the things anymore after a whole, like what pillows to add to the grey sofa I bought off the previous people living in my space ... 🫣

I am just so in love with earthy, warm colors - all year round, actually. And I'm quite the homebody, so I find it hard to leave often. Hehe. 😉 xo

This is such a wonderful post, with lovely ideas about anchoring our homes in the season without being overwhelming at all. Your home is so beautiful, it feels pared back and calm but so cosy! Thank you for the inspiration xx

Thank you for sharing this delicious post, Liz! That third picture had me swooning. And 'mysig' is a word I didn't know about before reading this so thank for the bonus education too!
